It was a smokin’ hot day for the Broadway Street Fair, and it must have broken attendance records! What a sensational event for our community, filled with energy and connection. We had the chance to talk with so many incredible people about what matters most to them—their hopes for the future of Saskatoon and their ideas for how we can make our city a safer, more inclusive, and affordable place for all. These conversations are at the heart of my campaign, and it was amazing to see so much passion for building a better future together. Plus, I was grateful to find the perfect hat to survive the heat! 🌞

Thanks to Saskatoon Transit ATU615 for inviting me to the annual corn roast, complete with delicious international cuisine. (The curry was amazing!) It was exactly what this candidate needed after a long day in the heat on Broadway. There were many important conversations. We need to ensure everyone has a safe ride, including the drivers. #AllofUsTogether

Summer spirit was alive and well this past long weekend. Thanks to Nutrien for the spectacular fireworks show; The Punjabi community showcased a huge cultural event with live music and entertainment in the Kensington neighbourhood; Congrats to all teams in the cricket tourney; Hats off to the Saskatoon & District Labour Congress for hosting a spectacular free BBQ in Victoria Park; and thanks to the friends who insisted on one last “rip” of summer. 🌊

The junior cricket teams were pumped up for the big championship in Pierre Radison Park in Westmount. Thanks to Ali for teaching me about the second most popular sport in the world (after soccer), and letting me try out the equipment. It’s a lot like baseball - and a lot of fun to watch.

Happy Labour Day! A day to recognize the hard work and dedication of workers across our city, and the role that working people have played in building and shaping our society.

Victoria Park was buzzing with music and community spirit today. It was a hot, beautiful day, and it was great to see so many families gathered to share a hotdog or hamburger together under the trees. Thousands of meals were served, and we made sure no one left with an empty stomach.

Thank you to Saskatoon District Labour Council for volunteering and hosting an amazing BBQ for everyone. I was grateful to be a part of it, and it just reinforces my belief that when we come together, we can accomplish so much.

Everyone should feel safe in their community—security is important to all of us. From the very start of this campaign, community safety has been a central focus. I have consistently supported the SPS budgets, trusting our professionals to keep us informed and protected. My commitment remains strong: we will do everything in our power to ensure that every Saskatonian feels secure and protected in their own city.

Happy Independence Day Ukraine and huge congrats to Saskatoon’s Ukrainian community for organizing an amazing celebration in Kiwanis Memorial Park. The sausage and perogies were outstanding! It was wonderful to see so many faces of community celebrating with our Ukrainian neighbours.

22 Saskatoon residents from 7 different countries became Canadian citizens today. Their excitement for this moment was a reminder of what it means to be a part of something bigger than yourself.

As I run for mayor, I want to recognize that we are on Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional land of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota, and the Métis Nation.

Living and working here is a privilege, and I acknowledge the deep history and contributions of the Indigenous peoples who have cared for this land long before it became Saskatoon.

In my campaign and beyond, I’m committed to respecting our shared history and working together to build a city where everyone’s voice matters.
