All of us,
Together.
I want to be your Mayor, because I care deeply about the future of every one of us that calls Saskatoon home – whether your ancestors have been here for thousands of years or arrived yesterday – regardless of creed, colour, orientation of gender. We all belong here, and we need each other if we are to build a vibrant and welcoming Saskatoon, that is resilient and future ready.
My leadership is grounded in compassion, commitment, and a drive for innovation. Together, we can make Saskatoon a place where affordability, safety, and sustainability come first. We’ll prioritize the basics like roads, housing, and safety while also pushing forward with bold initiatives like a Task Force on Homelessness and revitalizing our downtown.
Over the past eight years on City Council, I’ve poured my heart into making Saskatoon better. I’ve done my homework, listened to your concerns, and made tough decisions with one goal in mind—to improve our city. But none of that was done alone. Saskatoon thrives when we come together, and it’s going to take all of us to create the kind of city where our children and grandchildren want to stay. We need to make decisions that not only address today’s needs but also guide us toward a brighter, more progressive future—a true North Star on the prairies.
I’m inviting you to join me in this journey. Get involved, share your ideas, and let’s work together to shape Saskatoon’s future.
Are you ready? Join us and let your voice be heard.
Creating a city that is affordable is foundational to a growing, thriving community and a rich social fabric. As mayor, I will find a new way forward to ensure Saskatoon is a city where everyone has a chance for a good quality of life.

Saskatoon is leading Canada in both population and economic growth, but with this success comes significant challenges. As housing supply lags behind demand and inflation puts increasing pressure on our infrastructure and services, prioritizing affordability has never been more critical. That’s why I’m announcing my strategy to tackle these challenges head-on.

For every girl or woman out there who is trying her best to be her best, this is for you. Never. Give. Up.

“...I will not follow her, but I will walk beside her. And I think that’s the most crucial part of leadership, when you walk with your people, they give you that strength.”

Truth first. Reconciliation follows. Like grief, it is not a straight line, but we stood together in solidarity today as Treaty People - because every child matters. #NDTR2024 🧡
Getting to know Cynthia. She was recently interviewed by CFCR’s Civically Speaking. Thanks to hosts, Lenore Swystun and Christina Chernesky
Pinching pennies today doesn’t make sense if we have to pay dollars tomorrow. When candidates promise to slash taxes, they need to explain how they’ll keep our basic infrastructure working well. I know how important it is to keep improving our roads, sidewalks, and watermains, and as Mayor I’ll make sure we aren’t playing an expensive game of catch-up on the City’s basics.

We need to build a safe city from the foundation up. I’ll make sure Police, Fire and Transit get the resources they need to fight crime and improve safety. But my plan calls for a whole city approach, to prevent crime before it happens and improve community safety and well-being for everyone.

Most of us don’t think about basketball or ice rinks when we imagine a safety, but my plan incorporates the significant ways community and city-building promote long term safer neighbourhoods. My Plan for a Safe City is a whole city approach, working alongside the important work of Police and Fire to build a stronger, healthier, Saskatoon - together.

It’s time. We urgently need to work together to get people off the streets and into stable housing. We must have residents and businesses at the table to create a proactive approach that will actually work for our city. - As your mayor, I am ready to make this my top priority.
I was honoured to say a few words at the annual “Brain Boogie” in support of survivors of acquired brain injury and their families. As a sister of a survivor, the Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association has been near and dear to my heart. SBIA works tirelessly to connect survivors with supports and services, while inspiring a deep sense of community and hope for the future. Thank you for everything you do! @saskbraininjury
My vision for Saskatoon is a city that works for all of us—safe, sustainable, modern, and full of opportunity.
By working together, listening, caring, and engaging with one another, we will build a future we can all be proud of.

As I run for mayor, I want to recognize that we are on Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional land of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota, and the Métis Nation.
Living and working here is a privilege, and I acknowledge the deep history and contributions of the Indigenous peoples who have cared for this land long before it became Saskatoon.
In my campaign and beyond, I’m committed to respecting our shared history and working together to build a city where everyone’s voice matters.
